I believe that crosswords should be challenging, yet solvable. To this end, I only include words that I can define without consulting a dictionary (and my vocabulary isn't that great!)
I believe that a nice surface reading is desirable, so sometimes minor superfluous words will slip in
All of the words and phrases in my puzzles are in "Australian English"
